Show Number 52 – It Been a Quite A Year?
by Jacob on Jun.16, 2009, under Podcasts
Well with show number 52 that makes one year worth of shows (52 weeks in a year kids). Yeah I know that its been a whole lot longer than a year but I am talking content here people not actual days and stuff. It’s really not that hard to figure out if your put you mine to it.
Wow over 100 hours of Pintogigante has been recorded and stored to stand the test of time… what a waste. When I say waste I don’t mean like online storage space, I mean the time you (the listener) all the guests that have been on the show have been wasting all for sake of playing radio. But really, in all honesty, I do thank all of you listeners and guests for being there for the mighty PG to listen and add you thought to a show about my favorite form of music… Heavy Fucking Metal.

Show Number 50 – Why Are You Listening?
by Jacob on May.03, 2009, under Podcasts
This show is a mess plain and simple, why sugar coat it? But is it funny? You’ll have to a listen and find out for yourself. I do think it has it’s moments.
Jeremy tries in vain to hold the show together while Jacob continues to drink more and make less sense, derailing the show. You may notice that there are many little audio skips through out the show. Do you know what the skips are? It’s editing people, little parts that Jacob fucked up and needed to be removed for the sake of the listener. But hey, that’s what makes Pinto Gigante the beast that it is… right?
I promise that next weeks show will be better, maybe the best show ever. Have a week!

Show Number 49 – Did You Expect Something Different?
by Jacob on Apr.19, 2009, under Podcasts
Welcome to the show everybody. I am your host, Captain Buzz-Kill. Well, not really. I know that I didn’t fool you. You’re way too smart to be fooled by the old name switcharoo type game type thingy. In fact, I think you probably think your some sort of a genius. Like your special in some way. Well let me tell you something, you little egotistical something or other, just because Mr. Rogers told you everyday while you were growing up that you were special, doesn’t mean that you are. Maybe he meant that you were retarded… like this show’s description.
What the hell am I going on about? I swear that these show descriptions make less and less sense every time a new show is released. Then again, who cares anyway? Nobody reads them. Hell, nobody even listens to the show anymore. No one emails or comments…I’m just so alone. So alone. It’s so cold here… so cold…

by Jacob on Mar.22, 2009, under Podcasts
It has been a quite awhile since David and Jacob have done a show without Jeremy or a guest, and for better or worse it happened on this here show. This episode is just another one of our free for all shows that we do so well. This is a short list of what you have to look forward to: we play a lot of new music, talk current events, try out a new and hopefully funny bit and just generally have a good old kick-ass time.
Hey, if you find yourself with some spare time this week, why don’t you join the Forums or sign up and follow PG on Twitter. Come on! It’ll be fun!

Show Number 47 – Just Another Stupid Metal Soundtrack Theme Show.
by Jacob on Mar.15, 2009, under Podcasts
This weeks show is all about Heavy Metal songs that have been used in Movies. I know, I know, you’re probably saying to you’re self “what an original theme, I’ve never heard this kind of show before” (sarcasm). So it’s not so original, you don’t have to like it but you do have to listen, It’s the law. I know because I checked. One member of the PG crew Wasn’t thrilled abut this weeks theme but he eventually comes around… or does he. You’ll have to listen to find out, oh how exciting! One thing about this weeks show was that everybody got picked on at one point or another. But then again that happens pretty much every week. Oh and for the record I really don’t think David is a dirty hippy… maybe a weird newager or a Apple Computer fanboy but he’s not a hippy. One thing is for sure though, I’m an asshole. Have fun!

Show Number 46 – General Patton VS. PintoGigante
by Jacob on Mar.08, 2009, under Podcasts
Well it’s another week which means it’s another show for your listening ear holes.
This week the PG crew tried their best at tackling the creative monster known as Mike Patton. Boy howdy has this man spread him self around the musical world. Mike Patton has Been a part of so many different musical genre’s and has made so many albums it was really hard fitting them into a two hour show. Hell we even forgot to do the Crust Pick this week because of trying to cover so much. Anyway, from metal to classical, Mr. Patton has done it all, unlike PintoGigante who can barely get anything done.
Hope you enjoy our Mike Patton tribute!

Show Number 45 – They Call It Metalcore?
by Jacob on Mar.01, 2009, under Podcasts
Well welcome back for another captivating episode of Pintogigante!
This week the PG crew discus the genera of Metalcore and a little bit Mathcore. We really had to ask each other, just what the hell is Metalcore anyway? It seems as though almost all metal bands could be considered Metalcore in one way or another. I mean if Trivium is Metalcore what the hell does that make Metallica? It’s really a big confusing genera of Heavy Metal music that even after doing a two hour show on it I am not sure I have any better understanding of it. Bonus: There is a hidden clue to what next weeks show is going to be about, can you find it? Oooo, I think my nipples are hard… yep.
Tracks by: Trivium, Path of Resistance, The Red Chord, Meshigga, The Locust, Fantômas, Mr. Bungle, Chimaira, Creation Is Crucifixion and Dethklok.
